Who we are
This website, www.tripifo.com, is run by Tripifo Holidays LLP (“Tripifo”, “we”, “us”), a travel company based in Kuttippuram, Malappuram, Kerala. This policy covers the website, its package pages and the short links we share on social media (for example tripifo.com/whatsappld).
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry form on our package pages (Lakshadweep, Malaysia and Thailand) asks for:
- your name
- your phone / WhatsApp number
- your age — package prices differ for adults, children and infants, so we use it to quote the right price
- the number of travellers
- your place (town or city)
Along with these, we record which package you enquired about, the address of the page you sent it from, any campaign tags in that address (UTM source, medium and campaign, which tell us which advert or post brought you to the page) and the date and time of the enquiry.
When you book
When you book a trip, we ask for the traveller details needed to issue flight tickets, entry permits and bookings (for example names, ages, and ID or passport details), and share them with the airlines, stays, operators and authorities involved.
When you contact us directly
If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share, together with your phone number or email address. WhatsApp chats take place on WhatsApp, a service of Meta, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
When you browse the website
Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. See also Cookies and tracking below.
How we use it
- to call or WhatsApp you back about your enquiry and help plan and quote your trip;
- to send you offers and updates about Tripifo trips by phone or WhatsApp — you can ask us to stop at any time;
- to understand which pages, adverts and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve them;
- to keep the website working and secure, including filtering automated spam submissions.
Who we share it with
Only the Tripifo team works with your enquiry. We do not sell your personal details. We use these service providers to run the website and handle enquiries:
- Vercel — hosts the website and processes each page request and form submission.
- Google — enquiries are saved to a Google Sheet through Google Apps Script. Google also provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (see below) and the web fonts used on the site, which your browser loads from Google’s servers.
- Meta — WhatsApp, when you choose to chat with us there, and the Meta Pixel (see below).
- Microsoft — Microsoft Clarity (see below).
- YouTube (Google) — our package videos show a preview image from YouTube; the YouTube player itself only loads when you press play.
When you book, we also share traveller details as described above. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 180 days, then delete them.
Security
Enquiries are sent from your browser over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and only the Tripifo team can access them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or to stop sending you offers, by emailing info@tripifo.com or calling +91 95268 45050.
Children
Enquiries must be made by an adult (18 or over). Details of children and infants travelling are given to us by the adult booking for them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
